Ruifeng Lin Performs in Benjamin Britten Composer Portrait at the Festival Internacional de Música de Marvão

25 July 2026

Following his acclaimed appearance at the Opening Gala, violinist Ruifeng Lin continued his participation at the Festival Internacional de Música de Marvão with the festival's Composer Portrait: Benjamin Britten, presented on 24 July at the historic São Tiago Church.

The programme, dedicated to selected works by Benjamin Britten and marking the 50th anniversary of the composer's death, brought together an outstanding group of internationally renowned artists. Ruifeng Lin performed alongside pianist Aleksandar Madžar, the Goldmund Quartet, soprano Carla Isabel, and tenor Martin Mitterrutzner, in a chamber music programme for voice, violin, piano, and string quintet.

The performance formed the second of four engagements awarded to Ruifeng Lin as part of his Classic Violin Olympus 2025 special prize, further highlighting the competition's commitment to providing exceptional international performance opportunities for its prize recipients. Performing in such a distinguished artistic setting alongside leading musicians represents another important milestone in the young violinist's expanding international career.
