Following his outstanding performance at Classic Violin Olympus 2025, violinist Ruifeng Lin has been invited to perform at the prestigious Festival Internacional de Música de Marvão in Portugal. The invitation was awarded as a special prize by renowned violinist and conductor Christoph Poppen.

During the festival, Ruifeng Lin will appear in four major performances, each showcasing a different facet of his artistry.

His festival journey begins with the Opening Gala at the Castle of Marvão, where he joins the Cologne Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Christoph Poppen as the violin soloist in Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, alongside works by Mozart and Schubert.

He will then take part in the Composer Portrait: Benjamin Britten, performing with pianist Aleksandar Madžar, the Goldmund Quartet, and an outstanding cast of vocal soloists in a programme celebrating the 50th anniversary of Britten's death.

Later in the festival, Ruifeng Lin gives a recital at Quinta Azeitona Verde, before returning to the stage for the Farewell Gala, where he performs with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Christoph Poppen, and an exceptional lineup of internationally acclaimed musicians including Veronika Eberle, Nils Mönkemeyer, Raphaela Gromes, Reinhold Friedrich, and Cy Leo. The gala programme features works by Mozart, Bruch, Sarasate, Wieniawski, Goedicke, and others, bringing the festival to a spectacular close.
