Ruifeng Lin Concludes Festival Internacional de Música de Marvão at the Farewell Gala
Violinist Ruifeng Lin concluded his successful participation at the Festival Internacional de Música de Marvão with a performance at the festival's prestigious Farewell Gala, held on 2 August in the courtyard of the Castle of Marvão.
The invitation to perform at the festival was awarded to Ruifeng Lin as a special prize at Classic Violin Olympus 2025 by renowned violinist and conductor Christoph Poppen, in recognition of his outstanding performance at the competition. The four-concert engagement provided the young violinist with the opportunity to collaborate with leading international musicians at one of Europe's most celebrated summer music festivals.
For the gala, Ruifeng Lin joined the Hong Kong Sinfonietta under the baton of Christoph Poppen, alongside an exceptional lineup of internationally acclaimed soloists. The programme featured works by Mozart, Bruch, Sarasate, Wieniawski, Goedicke, and other composers, bringing the festival to a spectacular conclusion.
The Farewell Gala marked the final performance of Ruifeng Lin's festival residency, completing a series of four distinguished appearances that showcased his artistry in orchestral, chamber, and solo repertoire.
