Jingzu Li Triumphs in Catania: A Dazzling Success at Violino e virtuosité

8 December 2025

The Teatro Massimo Bellini of Catania witnessed two unforgettable evenings on the 5th and 6th of December 2025, where the young violinist Jingzu Li took center stage and left audiences in awe. Fresh from securing the Special Prize at the Classic Violin Olympus 2025, Li stepped into the Sicilian spotlight for Violino e virtuosité, a symphonic event dedicated to brilliance, flair, and exceptional musicianship.

Under the direction of Nayden Todorov, Li delivered outstanding performances of Alexey Shor’s Violin Concerto No. 4 in B minor and Saint-Saëns’ Introduction et Rondo capriccioso, showcasing both lyrical finesse and brilliant virtuosity. The program also featured works by Stravinsky and Shostakovich, rounding off two memorable evenings of music.

With her artistry, technical mastery, and emotional presence, Jingzu Li’s concerts were a resounding success, confirming her as one of the most promising young violinists on today’s classical music stage.
