Classic Violin Olympus Finalist Andrey Baranov to Lead International Masterclass
Internationally acclaimed violinist Andrey Baranov, a finalist of the Classic Violin Olympus, has been announced as professor and artistic leader of an International Violin Masterclass hosted by Folkwang University of the Arts in June 2026.
Bringing together talented young violinists from around the world, the programme will culminate in a public concert in Berlin on 26 June 2026. Through intensive lessons, artistic mentoring, and performance opportunities, participants will have the chance to work closely with one of today’s most respected violin pedagogues and performers.
Baranov’s appointment reflects his growing influence not only as a concert artist but also as an educator committed to nurturing the next generation of violin talent.
