Sumina Studer is an international presenter, entrepreneur, and violinist whose work bridges performance, digital innovation, and industry expertise. She currently serves as the official host of the Tonebase Violin YouTube channel, presenter for the ARD International Music Competition, and is engaged to host a number of high-profile classical music events across the 2025–2026 season. 

A recipient of multiple international awards, Sumina has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras and appeared at major venues and festivals worldwide.

With a digital audience of over 200,000 subscribers on YouTube and 115,000 followers on Instagram, she is one of the most influential classical musicians on social media today, known for making classical music more accessible and engaging to younger audiences. As one of classical music’s most prominent digital voices, she was the first content creator ever engaged by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Sumina is the founder of ANIMUS, a digital consulting and social media management agency specialising in classical music. Through ANIMUS, she advises artists, competitions, and institutions on digital branding, audience strategy, and content creation. Her entrepreneurial work has positioned her as a leading figure in the evolving intersection between classical music and digital media.

She has led successful digital campaigns for major international competitions, managed the growth of artist accounts from under 10,000 to over 400,000 followers, and frequently lectures industry leading artist managers as well as students of educational institutions and universities on digital strategy in the classical music industry.

Sumina Studer is currently a Sales Executive at Florian Leonhard Fine Violins, one of the world’s foremost dealerships for rare string instruments, where she combines her artistic background with industry expertise. In her time outside the office, she serves as a trustee for We Have One World, a classical music charity supporting Save the Children UK.

Educated at The Juilliard School in New York City, Sumina has lived and worked in Zurich, Berlin, New York, and now resides in London.
